Description
When a person dies in Dhanista Panchakam, there is a chance of sudden death occurring in the family within the next few months, if the Shanti is not performed. Hence it is highly recommended to perform this Shanti after the 15th day / before 3 months. At maximum, it must be done before 6 months, or else the family should perform Mahamrityunjaya and Navagraha Shanti.
Dhanishta Panchakam Shanti has to be performed when the person dies in the below 5 Nakshatras.
- Dhanishta Nakshatra
- Satabhisha Nakshatra
- Poorvabhadrapada Nakshatra
- Uttarabhadrapada Nakshatra
- Revathi Nakshatra.

When a person died in Dhanista panchaka nakshatras, then this Shanti has to be performed after the 15th day, or before 3 months, or maximum before the 6th month.
