Description

Ekadashi Vrat is performed for Lord Vishnu/Krishna. Performing this Vrat and udyapan helps the person fulfill their wishes and attain happiness in their life.
The completion of Ekadashi fast is considered complete when it is performed as per the rituals, Udyapan is also necessary because the witnesses of the fast we observe are all the Gods, Goddesses, Yakshas, ​​Nagas etc., in such a situation, during Udyapan, by performing the puja and havan, allthe  gods and goddesses get their share, the donations made during this period help in completion of the fast and one gets the results which the karta wishes..
Ekadashi Udyapan is performed by doing Gauri, Ganesh, Kalash, Navgraha puja. Vishnu avahan, and Prana pratistha are performed. Abhishek is done to Vishnuji Pratima, Katha Shravanam is done and Havan is performed. In the end Daan, Dakshina is given to the Brahmins and Daan is given to Dampatis( Married Couples).
